This project has continued the daily operations and emergency tasks for the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yunlin County (YLEPB) from October 14st, 2019 to July 13, 2020 and is nearing completion of 100%. Our daily operation contains the site-inspection, no-noticing emergency tests, response drills or exercises, and regulation promulgation, while emergency task contains the support for environmental incidents with environmental monitoring, sampling, mitigation, supervising and recovering, etc. During the project period, the YLEPB's responded to 2 incidents under the on-site assisting and consulting by the project leader and/or co-leaders. 　　For the staff training, we provided the members of YLEPB with one-hour monthly classes, detection and equipment operation.For the daily operations, We also assisted YLEPB's to complete 56 site-inspections and 6 emergency tests without early warnings for the operation plants of toxic chemicals, and hosted 2 training exercises. We also assisted YLEPB's to review 42 emergency response plans in the toxic chemical plants, and to host 3 regulation promulgation/education workshops.those instruments or equipment provided YELPB's with daily, weekly, and annual operation or calibration if needed.
